En el año 1976 Tony Wilson descubre que su verdadera vocación gira en torno a la música. Funda un sello discográfico y se convierte en cazatalentos y promotor musical. Esta es la historia del espectacular ascenso de la discográfica Factory Records de Manchester, lugar de origen de grupos como Joy Division, New Order y Happy Mondays. Tony Wilson y sus amigos, tras asistir a un concierto de Sex Pistols, a finales de los años 70, formulan un plan que a lo largo de las dos décadas siguientes cambiará la faz de la música pop y dará notoriedad a Manchester. Tras lanzar Factory Records, compran un local y ponen su propia discoteca, Hacienda, que pronto se convierte en una de las más conocidas del mundo. Sin embargo, la fiesta no durará eternamente. La película, una historia de música, sexo, drogas y personajes estrafalarios, muestra la visión de un hombre que quiere dejar libres a sus artistas, lo cual, a su vez, será su perdición. La Fama de Corbijn no es en el mundo del cine, ya que su fama proviene desde el rincón de música, puesto a que su vida siempre a estado en la música pero como fotógrafo de NME en sus inicios y como director de vídeos de música como Personal Jesus de Depeche Mode, y Heart-Shaped Box de Nirvana.
Control es el primer largometraje de Corbijn y se ha esperado con ansias este debut, no solo por su capacidad dirigiendo vídeos, sino que mas que nada por la expectativa que provoca cualquier material que salga de Joy Division para sus fans.
La pelicula ya ha participado en un par de festivales donde se destaca la interpretación de Ian Curtis por Sam Riley.

Wilco - Live Ashes of american flags-2009

Los norteamericanos Wilco lanzaron un DVD titulado ‘Ashes Of American Flags‘, que captura en imágenes unas presentaciones de la banda en el Nashville Ryman Auditorium y el Tulsa Cain Ballroom, ambas realizadas en febrero del 2008.
Wilco -nombre que proviene de la abreviatura utilizada en el argot militar yanqui ‘We’ll accomplished’, que significa ‘Nosotros cumpliremos’- ya han lanzado un ábum en vivo en 2005, llamado ‘Kicking Television: Live In Chicago’.

FOBIA-2009 DVD-R electronica experimental y de vanguardia

El Festival FOBIA (Fórmula Básica en Imagen Audio), es una instancia que busca difundir, mostrar y poner de manifiesto música electrónica experimental y de vanguardia, posibilitando el desarrollo de esta actividad a la par con el uso de tecnologías audiovisuales.

Los organizadores de esta versión son Pablo Flores (Jacobino Discos) y Ervo Pérez (Productora Mutante), junto con el valioso aporte del Centro Cultural de España.

El Diseño ha sido gracias a Manuel Córdova.
El sitio Web ha sido confeccionada por Fernando Mora.
El Menú del Disco de DVD ha sido obra de Rodrigo Araya.
El disco de audio fue masterizado en los estudios itinerantes por Pablo Flores.
